Delaware License Plates: Explained

Okay. For all of you who wonder why I put pictures of random license plates on my blog/Myspace, this is for you. Also, there are a few different types of registrations: number-only, PC ("passenger car"- originally for station wagons and SUVs but now they are used everywhere), C ("commercial" - for business vehicles), and D ("dealer"). Those are just a few. Please watch:

Numbers Only

Single Digit: $500,000+

Two Digit: $125,000 to $500,000

Three Digit: $30,000 to $100,000

Four Digit: $3,500 to $10,000

Five Digit: $400 to $1,500


PC Tags

Single Digit: Nothing Sold Recently

Two Digit: $35,000 to $60,000

Three Digit: $4,500 to $8,000

Four Digit: $500 to $1,500


C Tags

Single Digit: $75,000+

Two Digit: $40,000 to $65,000

Three Digit: $5,000 to $12,000

Four Digit: $750 to $2,500
